A news paper report appeared in Malayala Manorama newspaper on 16.06.2024. it is reported that an extent of 10 acres of land belonging to Melemadathu Karikkadu Devaswom situated at Vandoor is being identified for setting up of an industrial estate. The above said Devaswom is under the Malabar Devaswom Board and therefore amenable to Madras Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1951.
