Sree Muthararamman temple in Vengannoor Street, Thiruvananthapuram District. This temple is centuries old and trust was registered in the year 2020 and prior to that the temple was being managed by devotees themselves without forming any official trust. On enquiry the it was learned that the property having an extent of 1.37 acres situated in Sy.No.80/5 of Pallichal Village belongs to the temple. In all the revenue records the above said property is recorded as the property of the Sree Mutharamman Temple. Matters being so, the Land Tribunal Board, Thiruvananthapuram has mutated the property of the minor deity of Sree Mutharamman kovil having an extent of 1.37 acres situated in Survey No. 80/5 in Pallichal Village by issuing notice to some persons who have no connection with the temple and effectively issued purchase certificate on behalf of the back drop of the temple authorities and in spite of the petition filed by the petitioner before the Hon’ble District Judge no action whatsoever have been taken till date. Hence this case was filed by the trust to recover the land of the deity
