Travancore Devaswom Board has ignored and neglected Jalavanthi or Elavanthi, which is a building with a pond meant to be used as resting place for Santhies of the temple, in which it is believed that there is presence of Sree Vallabha Swami and because of this neglect the building is on the verge of collapse and the life of the santhies who are using this is serious danger. Neither the Devaswom Board nor the Temple Advisory Committee are showing any interest.

The Court has interfered and directed the Board to come up with a proposal.
